10 POWERFUL WAYS TO TELL SOMEONE THAT THEY ARE LOVED

10 POWERFUL WAYS TO TELL SOMEONE THAT THEY ARE LOVED People say “I love you” all the time. It’s part of daily life for many of us, at the end of phone calls, parting ways, even as we’re going about our daily routine. It’s important to say these words. Sometimes, though, we look for innovative ways to show someone we care about. We decided to share with you a list of phrases that we can say to the people in our lives that form our most meaningful relationships. Sometimes “I love you” is enough, but sometimes we want to go above and beyond. Here we go: I Feel Amazing When I Spend Time With You. So, you love this person. How do they make you feel special? The word ‘amazing’ can be replaced with any positive word, really. It can really make someone’s day when you tell them how you feel because that is often hidden. What is important here is that you are not only expressing love, but you are expressing how good they make you feel. They are involved in your well-being, and t

Management

Management is an essentially human art rather than a science. Management is something to be passionate about and something that needs to be out with passion. Corporate men are only human.

National Institute of Standards and Technology

National Institute of Standards and Technology Unmanned vehicles, “intelligent” buildings, your cell phone, the fitness bracelet on your wrist—all of these are cyber-physical systems (CPS). Today the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) has released a draft CPS Framework document intended to help manufacturers create new CPS that can work seamlessly with other such smart systems that bridge the physical and computational worlds.

PHP

P HP was the first open-source language designed for the web and reached maturity around 1999 with the release of PHP4.  Before PHP there was only Perl (free, but a general-purpose scripting language, kind of hard to learn) and ASP (which was not free and r equired an enterprise-level budget to run.)  So PHP had a head start of about 6 years over Ruby andy Python.  (These languages existed since the mid-1990s but had no web frameworks written for them). Despite PHP's many shortcomings (lack of true object orientation, weak exception handling, no lambdas, and as others have mentioned, is essentially a huge flat namespace of inconsistently-named functions) it won by its ubiquity.  It was free and even the cheapest commodity web hosting providers were offering PHP by 2002 or 2003, so it had a full generation in Internet years to establish itself as the common language for open source developers.   The emergence of Rails in 2005 began to change that but it took a few years for Rails t

The device

The device was announced at MWC Shanghai and brings about features that are present on a smartphone such as in-built 3G SIM support that enables the user to make/receive calls. Also, the  IRist includes an app called iConnect that syncs with the user’s smartphone, offering information on missed calls, unread messages, and call logs as well. In other features, the IRist includes a feature called the voice assistant that sends emails, messages, dial numbers, opens and closes apps at the command of the user’s voice. A fully functional keyboard further adds to ease of use. Also, the smartwatch comes with a Bluetooth headset that can be unplugged to take calls or listen to music. In terms of specifications, the IRist has a clear 240 x 240 resolution that reproduces 16 million colors. It also comes built-in with a 5MP camera along with a face detection feature. The smartwatch is powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor which runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 with access to the Google Play S

Why is the keyboard

Why is the keyboard layout Q-W-E-R-T-Y and not simply A-B-C-D-F? Why were computer keyboards designed in the current format not in alphabetical order? Is there any specific reason or it's just some random convention we are following? It hasn’t been done randomly or just for fun, it has a very distinct and purposeful reason behind it. The current format of the keyboard was devised long back in the 1870s by a gentleman named Christopher Sholes for the then typewriter. Though it definitely was not the first format to come up, it didn’t take much time to switch to this one. Starting with lexicographic order i.e. A-B-C-D-E-F, after various trials and errors and taking hundreds of cases, Christopher Sholes gradually reached the Q-W-E-R-T-Y. It was really well-received (evident from the fact that we still use it). When the typewriter was invented, it used a metal bar to hold the character alphabets and the other end of the bar was attached to a linkage carrying a carriage wit

Microsoft has fixed a new Windows 10 bug just in the nick of time.

Microsoft has fixed a new Windows 10 bug just in the nick of time. On Saturday, the company rolled out an update dubbed KB3074681 to the current  Windows 10 build, which is the final build, or version, of the new OS before the official rollout starts on Wednesday. The problem is that the update contained a bug that  caused Windows' Control Panel to crash if you tried to uninstall an application . On Monday, Microsoft resolved the problem by rolling  out yet another update  to fix the bug, according to a tweet from Gabe Aul, the engineering general manager for Microsoft's operating systems group. Dubbed KB3074683, the new update allows you to once again uninstall the software via Control Panel, though you can also remove any application via the new Windows 10 Settings screen. I confirmed that the update resolves the problem as I was able to successfully uninstall a program through Control Panel without triggering any crashes.

Google-backed Sidewalk Labs

Google-backed  Sidewalk Labs  will convert over 10,000 New York's old phone booths into ad-supported " Wi-Fi pylons ." These booths will offer free wireless Internet access to anyone within 150 feet of radius. Sidewalk Labs is leading a group of investors acquiring  Control Group  and  Titan , companies working to cover New York City with Free, Superfast Wi-Fi service. Besides offering free Wi-Fi, the booths are also intended to provide free cell-phone charging, free domestic phone calling and a touchscreen-based information hub that provides you everything you need to know about the city and transit directions, Bloomberg  reported . According to the report, each Wi-Fi pylon will deliver advertising on the sides through Titan's advertising network, which is expected to bring $500 million in ad revenue to the city over the next 12 years. If this first trial in New York City proves to be a success, then the search engine giant will step forward to roll

HTTP

Good news for Internet folks! Get Ready as the entire web you know is about to change. The new and long-awaited version of HTTP took a major step toward becoming a reality on Wednesday – It is been officially finalized and approved. Mark Nottingham, chairman of the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) working group behind creating the standards, announced in a blog post that the HTTP 2.0 specifications have been formally approved. Now, the specifications will go through the last formality – Request for comment and editorial processes – before being published as a standard. LARGEST CHANGE IN HTTP OVER LAST 16 YEARS HTTP, or Hypertext Transfer Protocol, is one of the web standards familiar to most as the http:// at the beginning of a web address. HTTP protocol governs the connections between a user’s browser and the server hosting a website, invented by the father of the web Sir Tim Berners-Lee. HTTP/2 is simply an update to the protocol but is really a huge deal because the last time

Today everybody wants to know

Today everybody wants to know — Who visited my Facebook profile?,  Who unfriended me from the Facebook Friend list?,  Who saw my Facebook posts?, and many other features that aren't provided by Facebook by default. So most Facebook users try to find out software and fall victim to one that promises to accomplish their desired task. Hackers make use of this weakness and often design malicious programs in order to victimize a broad audience. Following I am going to disclose the realities behind one such  software designed cleverly to trick Facebook users  to make them believe it is genuine.

National Security Agency (NSA)

Just the way you swipe your smartphone screen is enough for your smartphone to identify you. Yes, it’s a Fact, not Fiction! The United States  National Security Agency (NSA)   has a new technology that can identify you from the way your finger swipe strokes and text on a smartphone screen, according to officials with  Lockheed Martin  who helped design the technology. John Mears , a senior fellow for Lockheed IT and Security Solutions, told  NextGov  that Lockheed Martin has been working with the agency to create a " secure gesture authentication as a technique for using smartphones, " and " they are actually able to use it. VPN service

The bandwidth of Millions of users of a popular free VPN service is being sold without their knowledge in an attempt to cover the cost of its free service, which could result in a vast botnet-for-sale network. " Hola ," a free virtual private network, is designed to help people abroad watch region-restricted shows like American Netflix, and other streaming United States media. Hola is selling users' bandwidth: Hola is an easy-to-use browser plugin available in the Google Chrome Store with currently  more than 6 Million downloads . But, unfortunately, Hola could be used by hackers to maliciously attack websites, potentially putting its users at risk of being involved in illegal or abusive activities.

A security researcher

A security researcher has discovered a critical vulnerability in Google-owned YouTube that could allow anyone to make the comment posted by any celebrity or public figure on some YouTube video appear on his or her own YouTube video, impersonating that celeb. Just a few weeks ago we reported a simple logical vulnerability on YouTube that could have been exploited by anyone to  delete any video from YouTube in just one shot . Now: Again a small trick in the popular video-sharing website could allow anyone to play with the comments posted by users on YouTube videos. Ahmed Aboul-Ela  and  Ibrahim M. El-Sayed , two Egyptian security researcher,  found  a simple trick that allowed him to copy any comments from any video on the popular video-sharing website to his video, even without any user interaction. Not only this but also: This vulnerability allows you to spoof, duplicate or copy the comments on discussion boards from any YouTube channel and make it appe

" Smart Lock " is one of the most convenient security features provided in Lollipop that offers a handful of clever ways to unlock an Android device automatically, which yet includes: Trusted Device Trusted Places Trusted Face However, Google is now rolling out a new smart lock, dubbed " Trusted Voice ," that uses your voice as a password to unlock your device. Just as your fingerprint or face recognition is considered distinctive enough for biometric recognition system purposes, so is your VoicePrint unique too enough to identify you. Android's Trusted Voice feature provides you the authentication of your Lollipop 5.0 device when you give an "OK Google" voice command. This is not new the very first time Google is introducing this feature…
